However,in the use process,because the peristaltic pump hose clamp is not correct,or the liquid is corrosive to a certain extent,the hose pump will cause premature wear and abnormal wear.Damaged peristaltic pump hose,if it looks like a knife cut is a sharp cut,is usually cut by the runner and flange edge of the peristaltic pump head.

The reason for this kind of damage is usually because the hose in the pump head is too long.When the pump head of the micro peristaltic pump is running,the hose shakes in the pump head and touches the flange edge of the runner.The flange edge keeps rubbing and cutting the hose.The process of damage can be very rapid,usually in about ten minutes will be completely broken.With the failure of the pump line,you will also see a lot of hose residue in the pump.

The hose is completely flattened and has no rebound ability.The wall thickness of the soft pipe becomes thinner and the surface is severely worn.This phenomenon is usually caused by the runner stuck,peristaltic pump pressure block contact pump tube surface and impurities on the runner caused by high speed.After the runner of the peristaltic pump head is stuck,the runner of the peristaltic pump directly scratches the peristaltic pump hose,which will increase the friction of the hose surface,causing the temperature of the hose surface to rise very high and wear the hose surface.

Too high a temperature can also cause the hose to lose its elasticity.In extreme cases,the temperature can exceed 140 degrees and even cause the hose to melt and deform.Peristaltic pump silicone tubes may deliver different liquids,some of which will corrodes and dissolve certain hoses.If you see the micro peristaltic pump hose brittle,hard,loss of elasticity,discoloration,swelling,damage and other phenomena,then it is usually because the hose can not transport this liquid caused.
